Today, the Somers Fire District said goodbye to Engine 185 that served our community for about 20 years. It was sold to a small Volunteer Fire Department in Bridgewater, Vermont. We are sad to see it leave, but happy it is going to a good home to continue its service!

Our new engine, E-186 went into service earlier this year replacing E-185.

Commissioner FitzGerald and Chief Lucia met with some of the members of Bridgewater Fire Department this morning for the final send off of Engine 185.
