Location: Preserves Complex Date/Time: Friday, March 21st, 2025 at 6:40 am Description: The Somers Volunteer Fire Department responded to the area of the Preserves for smoke coming from the roof of a house. Somers Units arrived on location to find smoke coming from the roof. A 10-75 working structure was transmitted to bring in additional resources to the scene. Crews attempted to make an aggressive push, but the fire had already compromised the first two floors upon entry. So a defensive tactic needed to be implemented. A second alarm was then transmitted. Units operated for approximately 7 hours. Thank you to all of the mutual aid companies who assisted us today.
